SIM800L V2 Not Catching Network - Help Needed!

Hi all,

I'm having trouble with my SIM800L V2 module not registering on the network. The NET LED keeps blinking rapidly, indicating no connection. Here's my setup:

Power: 5V/2A supply
SIM card: Works in a phone (JIO 4G enabled)
Antenna: Properly connected
AT Command (AT+CREG?): Returns 0,2 (not registered, searching)
I've tried different locations, re-seated the antenna, and ensured stable power, but no luck. Any suggestions on what could be wrong or additional steps I can try?

Hi Mithilesh ,

Sim800 modules are not designed for connecting to a 4g network ,
Jio only has 4g band and thats he reason its not able to connect to any other band of the same network ,
Try using a different sim provider(vodafone,airtel,bsnl), it should work .
Everything else looks fine in your setup .
