I have recently started an exciting project where I’m experimenting with 3D printing using recycled ocean plastic as filament. The idea is to turn waste collected from the oceans into usable, high-performance filament for 3D printers.

1. What modifications would you recommend for a 3D printer to handle non-traditional filaments like recycled plastic? e.g. nozzle types.
2. Do you think recycled ocean plastic could become a mainstream filament material? Why or why not..
3. What are some creative ways you could use recycled plastic filament for real-world applications, could it be used for prototypes, functional parts, or even art?
4. What are your thoughts on the environmental impact of 3D printing, do you think using recycled materials could make a significant difference?
