The input common mode voltage range of the INA240 is -6V to +90V, independent of its supply voltage.
The INA240A2PWR can handle input voltages between -6V to +90V, so it works even if the signals are much higher or lower than the power supply. It is most commonly used for bidirectional current flow, PWM driven systems, High/Low current sensing. It will help you in operation below ground.
