I'm building a UPS for my WiFi router using a YX850 module, but I'm facing an issue where the router restarts when switching from mains power to battery during a power failure. What could be causing this, and how can I ensure a seamless transition without interruptions?

Your UPS part of this setup is not supplying power fast enough for the router to keep being powered on. You may want to use 18650 based 12v UPS that gives a constant 12v output with 0 sec delays, so it is very unlikely for the router to restart.
