Issue with Sovol SV06PLUS, a larger 3D printer.
I recently purchased the Sovol SV06PLUS, a larger 3D printer. After setting everything up correctly, I encountered an issue where the display freezes, and the nozzle becomes clogged during the initial run when I connect the power supply. Could you please provide a solution?
Below our solutions for your reference.
1. First check whether the two ends of the screen cable (motherboard port + screen port, refer to the picture) are firmly inserted and whether the cable is damaged.
Purpose of troubleshooting: Check whether the screen cable is damaged or securely inserted, that resulted in a failure to display.
a. check for damage.
b. If no damage, then continue the troubleshooting by below steps.
2. pronterface + USB cable can be used to connect the printer, first send M115 (refer to the picture) to check the firmware and motherboard information, and then send G28 to test whether the machine can be moved and do the homing.
Purpose: Check whether the mainboard successfully refresh the firmware and whether the software can normally control the machine operation.
a、If the M155 and G28 can run, it indicates that the motherboard is normal. The screen cable may be damaged. we will reissue you the screen cable.
b、If the M155 and G28 cannot run properly, the mainboard does not have firmware, or the firmware is not updated successfully. then pls Refresh the firmware again.
3、After rebrushing the firmware as required, if the screen is still stuck at the start screen, then try to use software to connect the printer to run the M155 and G28.
a、if it can be connected and run, the screen is stuck in the start interface, it may be the screen cable port on the motherboard is damaged and the screen cable is damaged, and then we will reissue the motherboard + screen cable.
b、If you cannot connect and run, the screen is stuck in the start interface, it may be the motherboard is damaged that cannot brush firmware, then we will reissue the motherboard.
4、 No printing and nozzle choked in first run. ---- about this issue, pls provide us photo of the extruder being clogged so that we can analyze the extent of the blockage.
