If the space in the hall is main constraint, then you can consider moving to outside for shooting.
If that is not possible then you may modify the track to fit your needs but the modified track will be judged accordingly.

If you're using HC05 which is bluetooth module. But in place of making a transmitter, if you plan to use your mobile phone and a app to control the car, then yes. You'll be in a slight disadvantage.

You can add padding to soften the fall.
Also don't make the ramp longer than 2x-3x of your car's length, that way you wouldn't have to add padding considering the drop will be of very low height.

You may use Radiolink or any other existing transceivers available in the market. But making it from scratch will be more desired as per our judging criteria.
